We’re excited to invite Year 6, 5, and 4 families to our special CAF Workshop & Achievement Awards event. This is your opportunity to gain expert guidance on grammar school applications and celebrate the hard work of our students.

What is the CAF process? CAF (Common Application Form) is how parents apply for secondary school places in the UK. You list your school preferences, and the council allocates based on eligibility and cut-offs.

Who should attend the workshop? Parents and students in Years 4, 5, and 6 who are preparing for grammar schools or considering appeals or want to understand the whole process in Grammar Schools.

Is the workshop really free? Yes – GLECTA offers this as part of our commitment to parent support. However, booking is required as seats are limited.

Will the event cover appeals? Yes – our experts will share guidance on the appeal process, common pitfalls, and realistic success rates.

What happens in the Achievement Awards? Our hardworking Year 6 students will receive trophies and certificates, while Year 4 & 5 pupils gain inspiration for the future.
